No, the initial telephone consultation is free. This gives us both an opportunity to discuss your needs and see if we're a good fit before committing to sessions.
This depends on current availability. After our initial consultation, I can usually offer an assessment appointment within 1-2 weeks. I'll always let you know about current waiting times when we first speak.
Fees vary depending on the service. I'm happy to discuss fees during our initial consultation and can sometimes offer reduced rates in certain circumstances. School contracts and workshop pricing is tailored to each organisation's needs.
I can provide receipts and reports that may be used for insurance claims, but I don't work directly with insurance panels. Please check with your provider about their reimbursement policies for child psychotherapy.
This is very common and something we can discuss during our initial consultation. Sometimes parent consultation sessions can be helpful while a young person warms to the idea. I never force therapy on anyone - it works best when the young person is willing to engage, even if they're initially uncertain.
